Structure–property correlations of flexible clear coats
Progress in Organic Coatings, 2009Abstract In this paper thermomechanical and mechanical properties of various free clear coat films for coil-coated steel sheets were studied by dynamic mechanical analysis and tensile testing. To establish structure–property correlations, polyacrylate and polyester binder resins with varying molar mass and functionality were investigated.

Structure–property-processing correlations in freeze-cast composite scaffolds
Acta Biomaterialia, 2013Surprisingly few reports have been published, to date, on the structure-property-processing correlations observed in freeze-cast materials directionally solidified from polymer solutions, or ceramic or metal slurries. The studies that exist focus on properties of sintered ceramics, that is materials whose structure was altered by further processing. In

Structure–Property Correlations in Cyanobiphenyl-Based Dimer-Like Mesogens
The Journal of Physical Chemistry B, 2015In this contribution, we present the results of our extensive investigations on the synthesis and phase behavior of five series of dimer-like compounds formed by covalently linking a promesogenic, cyanobiphenyl core, with a nonmesogenic N-(n-alkyl)-salicylaldimine segment via an oxy(oligomethylene)oxy spacer of varying length and parity. This work is a

Quantum structure diagrams and structure-property correlations
Journal of Alloys and Compounds, 1993Abstract The existence of large, well-organized databases provides unique opportunities for original research. Some examples are discussed in crystallographic and metallurgical contexts.

Structure-Property Correlations in Metal Matrix Composites
Metal matrix composites (MMCs) having particulate or laminate structure are extensively used in a wide range of applications including cutting tools, automotive vehicles, aircraft, and consumer electronics. In a composite material, two or more dissimilar materials are combined to form another material having superior properties.Neeraj Kumar Sharma +1 more
