Homophily, or the fact that similar individuals tend to interact with each other, is a prominent feature of economic and social networks. I show that the equilibrium structure of homophily has empirical power. I build a strategic model of network formation, which produces a unique equilibrium network.

Inpatient Food Insecurity and Pediatric Hematology Oncology Hospitalization Outcomes
ABSTRACT Children with cancer and blood disorders are at risk for food insecurity (FI). We aimed to describe the association of inpatient food insecurity (IFI) and hospitalization outcomes among patients admitted to the pediatric hematology oncology service. Of 325 caregivers screened for IFI, 60 (18.6%) screened positive.

The telomerase reverse transcriptase has an essential role in telomere maintenance and in cancer biology. Progress during the last year has revealed the three-dimensional architecture of both human and ciliate telomerase at about 25Å resolution, obtained using single particle electron microscopy (EM).

Structured data structures [PDF]
Programming systems which permit arbitrary linked list structures enable the user to create complicated structures without sufficient protection. Deletions can result in unreachable data elements, and there is no guarantee that additions will be performed properly.

Scattering from supramacromolecular structures
We study theoretically the scattering imprint of a number of branched supramacromolecular architectures, namely, polydisperse stars and dendrimeric, hyperbranched structures.

The authors investigate a calculus of individuals based on a primitive notion of connectedness. They show that their system of axioms leads to complete orthocomplemented lattices whereas the extension of their system to the Clarke system leads to complete atomless Boolean algebras [see also \textit{B. Clarke}, ibid. 26, 61-75 (1985; Zbl 0597.03005)].

ABSTRACT Purpose Pediatric central nervous system (CNS) tumors often recur despite multimodality therapy. Although re‐irradiation (re‐RT) has historically been limited by concerns for severe late toxicities, modern techniques have renewed interest in this approach. Proton therapy provides dosimetric advantages that may enable curative re‐treatment with

Locally Polynomially Bounded Structures
We prove a theorem which provides a method for constructing points on varieties defined by certain smooth functions. We require that the functions are definable in a definably complete expansion of a real closed field and are locally definable in a fixed
