Regenerative partition structures
We consider Kingman's partition structures which are regenerative with respect to a general operation of random deletion of some part. Prototypes of this class are the Ewens partition structures which Kingman characterised by regeneration after deletion ...

Structural Invariants, Structural Kinds, Structural Laws [PDF]
The paper has three parts. In the first part ExtOSR, an extended version of Ontic Structural Realism, will be introduced. ExtOSR considers structural properties as ontological primitives, where structural properties are understood as comprising both relational and structurally derived intrinsic properties or structure invariants.

Bone metastasis in prostate cancer (PCa) patients is a clinical hurdle due to the poor understanding of the supportive bone microenvironment. Here, we identify stearoyl‐CoA desaturase (SCD) as a tumor‐promoting enzyme and potential therapeutic target in bone metastatic PCa.

Organomonophosphines in PtPX3 (X=O, N, Cl, S, I, or Te): structural aspects
In this review the structural parameters of 20 mononuclear Pt(II) coordination complexes with an inner coordination sphere of PtPX3 (X=O, N, Cl, S, I or Te) are summarized and analyzed. The P-donor ligands are organomonophosphines.

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Structural biology of ferritin nanocages
Ferritin is a conserved iron‐storage protein that sequesters iron as a ferric mineral core within a nanocage, protecting cells from oxidative damage and maintaining iron homeostasis. This review discusses ferritin biology, structure, and function, and highlights recent cryo‐EM studies revealing mechanisms of ferritinophagy, cellular iron uptake, and ...

In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Green natural capital, the environmental Kuznets curve and development financing in the Global South
Summary: This study investigates the nexus between carbon dioxide emissions, economic development, and development finance in seeking an empirical answer to the conundrum at the intersection of development and environmental economics.

Regenerative Composition Structures
A new class of random composition structures (the ordered analog of Kingman's partition structures) is defined by a regenerative description of component sizes.
