Structure of Simulation Systems for Structural-Dynamic Systems

First Asia International Conference on Modelling & Simulation (AMS'07), 2007
This contribution presents developments and trend for the structure of new simulation systems, or for extensions of existing simulation systems, in order to handle structural-dynamics systems in an adequate manner. The paper first introduces the CSSL standard for continuous system simulation and its consequences.

Structure of index invariant systems

1971 IEEE Conference on Decision and Control, 1971
This paper introduces the concept of a controllability module and then uses it to study certain algebraic properties of index-invariant, time-varying, linear systems. It is shown that controllability modules possess a property similar to the pole placement property of controllability subspaces.

Viscoelastic Heterogeneous Structures with Variable Structural System

Journal of Engineering Mechanics, 1993
Viscoelastic structures that undergo an evolution of the structural system, which passes from an initial to a final configuration, with an increase at different times of the number of the redundant reactions, are analyzed. These actions, which restore the compatibility conditions at the delayed restraints, are time‐dependent.

Structured Systems

2004
Abstract So far in this book, only iterative methods for the solution of Toeplitz systems of equationsTnX= b have been discussed. This chapter provides a survey of some of the latest developments in PCG methods for the solution of linear systems of equations with structured coefficient matrices, for instance Toeplitz-like, Toeplitz-plus ...

Biomimics:Skeletal System to Structural System

Indian Journal of Public Health Research & Development, 2019
Biomimicry is the concept of mimicking nature and is efficient in terms of its performance, sustainable and innovative in terms of solving a problem in a unique way rather than the conventional method and has future scope. In the field of architecture, the concept can be used to improve the design of the structure, its construction techniques and to ...

DISTILLATION CONTROL SYSTEM STRUCTURES

IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1986
Abstract Much of the recent research on distillation control has been treating the question of control system configuration. Dual-composition control by controlling temperature differences and sums in a column, various ways of reducing interaction by use of flow ratios as manipulators, and use of decoupling strategies are examples on dis-cussed ...

Structurally Stable Differential Systems

The Annals of Mathematics, 1961
A real ordinary differential equation is structurally stable (precise definitions later cf. [1, 4, 8, 13]) in case a small change in the coefficients yields a perturbed differential equation whose solution curve family is qualitatively the same as that of the original differential equation.
