Suç antropolojisi: kadın ve suç

open access: yesAntropoloji, 2007

Diatom‐Inspired 1D Immobile Robots Capable of 2D Collective Mobility

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
This study presents a diatom‐inspired robotic system that explores group coordination through limited physical interactions. The researchers tune groups of Barbots, simple robotic agents that possess neither individual mobility nor explicit communication capabilities, to achieve complex and adaptive collaboration based on environmental light.

Human Leukocyte Elastase Triggered Nanoparticles for Targeted Antimicrobial Delivery and Oral Microbial Modulation

open access: yesAdvanced NanoBiomed Research, EarlyView.
This study explores enzyme‐responsive nanoparticles for targeted antimicrobial release in inflamed oral environments. Nanoparticles formed by complexing peptides and chlorhexidine respond to human leukocyte elastase and release chlorhexidine selectively. P7 (ECAAPVCE)‐based formulations show optimal properties and stability, with antimicrobial activity

Effects of Early, High Moisture Harvesting on Grain, Milling, Flour, and Baking Quality of Six Winter Wheat Varieties

open access: yesCereal Chemistry, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background and Objectives Three US soft wheat varieties (Hilliard, Wilson, and Kokosing), one Korean soft wheat variety (Olgeru), and two Korean hard wheat varieties (Keumkang and Sukang) were harvested three times on weekly intervals beginning at approximately 20% grain moisture, and were evaluated for grain, milling, flour quality, and ...

Myocardial inflammation is associated with impaired mitochondrial oxidative capacity in ischaemic cardiomyopathy

open access: yesESC Heart Failure, Volume 12, Issue 2, Page 1246-1255, April 2025.
Abstract Aims Myocardial inflammation and impaired mitochondrial oxidative capacity are hallmarks of heart failure (HF) pathophysiology. The extent of myocardial inflammation in patients suffering from ischaemic cardiomyopathy (ICM) or dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) and its association with mitochondrial energy metabolism are unknown.

Effects of deficit irrigation and biostimulants on melon productivity and quality in semi‐arid conditions

open access: yesJournal of the Science of Food and Agriculture, EarlyView.
Abstract BACKGROUND Water scarcity and soil salinization are major constraints to irrigated agriculture in semi‐arid regions, affecting crop productivity and fruit quality. Combining deficit irrigation with biostimulant application has emerged as a promising strategy to improve water use efficiency and plant stress tolerance.

Preclinical PET imaging of bispecific antibody ERY974 targeting CD3 and glypican 3 reveals that tumor uptake correlates to T cell infiltrate

open access: yesJournal for ImmunoTherapy of Cancer, 2020
Background Bispecific antibodies redirecting T cells to the tumor obtain increasing interest as potential cancer immunotherapy. ERY974, a full-length bispecific antibody targeting CD3ε on T cells and glypican 3 (GPC3) on tumors, has been in clinical ...

Blm10/PA200-Activated 20S Proteasomes Promote α-Synuclein Degradation and Bypass Proteasome Inhibition in Parkinson's Disease Models. [PDF]

open access: yesAging Cell
This study demonstrates that α‐synuclein expression stabilizes the proteasome activator Blm10, thereby linking α‐synuclein stress to changes in proteasome composition. Blm10/PA200‐capped 20S proteasomes efficiently degrade both monomeric and oligomeric α‐synuclein and remain resistant to α‐synuclein‐induced inhibition.
