Research Paper: Fabrication and Study of Planar Waveguide Based on SU-8 Polymer using Different Substrates [PDF]
In this work, the planar waveguides are investigated by depositing a SU-8 polymer on PET and quartz substrates. Maxwell equations are solved for the designed waveguides to obtain the characteristic equations.

Electrowetting on superhydrophobic SU-8 patterned surfaces [PDF]
Electrowetting on micro-patterned layers of SU-8 photoresist with an amorphous Teflon (R) coating has been observed. The cosine of the contact angle is shown to be proportional to the square of the applied voltage for increasing bias.

A new design for a single-use disposable pneumatic microgripper is presented in this paper. It enables very cost-effective batch microfabrication in SU-8 with a single lithography mask by shifting manufacturing complexity into reusable components.

Abstract A grand unified gauge theory based on the group SU(8) is presented. The set of rules motivating the choice of SU(8) is given. The particle content of the theory suggests a natural embedding of a horizontal SU(3) symmetry in the SU(8) grand unified symmetry.
