An alternative SU(4)⊗SU(2)L⊗SU(2)R model [PDF]

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 1998
Abstract A simple alternative to the usual Pati-Salam model is proposed. The model allows quarks and leptons to be unified with gauge group SU (4)⊗ SU (2) L ⊗ SU (2) R at a remarkably low scale of about 1 TeV. Neutrino masses in the model arise radiatively and are naturally light.

Deep Sequencing of FLT3‐ITD Enables Response Evaluation and Post‐Treatment Monitoring in Childhood AML: An Exploratory Study

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background An internal tandem duplication in the gene encoding Fms‐like tyrosine kinase 3 (FLT3‐ITD) is associated with high relapse risk and poor prognosis in acute myeloid leukemia (AML) and plays a crucial role in treatment decisions. Measurable residual disease (MRD) analysis of FLT3‐ITD during and after treatment has shown prognostic ...

SU(2) × SU(2) Algebras and the Lorentz Group O(3,3) [PDF]

open access: yesSymmetry, 2020
The Lie algebra of the Lorentz group O(3,3) admits two types of SU(2) × SU(2) subalgebras: a standard form based on spatial rotation generators and a second form based on temporal rotation generators. The units of measurement for the conserved quantity due to invariance under temporal rotations are investigated and found to be the same units of measure

Claudin‐6 Protein Expression in Atypical Teratoid/Rhabdoid Tumors Is Strongly Enriched in the Molecular Subgroup AT/RT‐TYR

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Claudin‐6 has emerged as a promising immunotherapeutic target, yet protein‐level data in atypical teratoid/rhabdoid tumors (AT/RTs) have been inconsistent. We analyzed 36 well‐characterized AT/RT samples and found membranous claudin‐6 protein expression in 58% of cases, with striking enrichment in the molecular subgroup AT/RT‐TYR (100%) and ...

A proof of concept of a BioMEMS glucose biosensor using microfabricated SU-8 films [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
The present project investigated and proved the concept of developing a novel BioMEMS glucose micro-biosensor using a simple one-step microfabrication process of the widely used SU-8 polymer.

Integrating ECG Monitoring and Classification via IoT and Deep Neural Networks

open access: yesBiosensors, 2021
Anesthesia assessment is most important during surgery. Anesthesiologists use electrocardiogram (ECG) signals to assess the patient’s condition and give appropriate medications. However, it is not easy to interpret the ECG signals.

Time Toxicity in Wilms Tumor: Quantifying the Burden of Healthcare Interaction in the First Year After Diagnosis

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Wilms tumor (WT) treatment imposes a significant time burden on patients and their families. Time toxicity is a patient‐centered metric that quantifies the burden of healthcare interaction. We sought to define time toxicity in the first year after diagnosis of WT and hypothesized that it would increase as tumor stage and treatment ...

Harmonic maps, SU (N) skyrme models and yang-mills theories [PDF]

open access: yes, 2002
This thesis examines the construction of static solutions of (3+l)-dimensional SU{N) Skyrme models, usual and alternative, and pure massive SU(N) Yang-Mills theories.
