ABSTRACT Background Pediatric sarcomas are a heterogeneous group of tumors that contribute disproportionately to cancer mortality in children. Although congenital anomalies are among the strongest known risk factors for childhood cancer, the risk of specific sarcoma subtypes among affected individuals has not yet been thoroughly evaluated. Procedure We

Heavy baryons in SU(2) × SU(6) [PDF]
The spectrum of baryons containing heavy quarks of one flavor is described in terms of representations of the group SU(2){times}SU(6), where the two factor groups refer to spin rotations of the heavy quarks and spin-flavor rotations of the light quarks, respectively. This symmetry has a natural interpretation in the heavy quark limit.

A regular method for constructing vortex-like solutions with cylindrical symmetry to the equations of the SU(2) Skyrme chiral model is proposed. A numerical estimate for the length density of mass is given.

Supporting Survivor‐Centered Care Through Digital Health Integration
ABSTRACT Survivors of childhood cancer face barriers to receiving guideline‐based, long‐term follow‐up care. Two digital tools, Passport for Care (PFC) and Cancer SurvivorLink (SurvivorLink), address complementary gaps by enabling tailored survivorship care plan (SCP) generation, updating, storage, and sharing.

Design and fabrication of an ac-electro-osmosis micropump with 3D high-aspect-ratio electrodes using only SU-8 [PDF]
Lab-on-a-chip devices require integrated pumping and fluid control in microchannels. A recently developed mechanism that can produce fluid flow is an integrated ac-electro-osmosis micropump.

Mechanical Entropy and Its Implications
: It is shown that the classical laws of thermodynamics require that mechanical systems must exhibit energy that becomes unavailable to do useful work. In thermodynamics, this type of energy is called entropy.

MORE ON THE ISOMORPHISM SU(2) ⊗ SU(2) ≅ SO(4) [PDF]
In this paper, we revisit the isomorphism SU(2) ⊗ SU(2) ≅ SO(4) to apply to some subjects in Quantum Computation and Mathematical Physics. The unitary matrix Q by Makhlin giving the isomorphism as an adjoint action is studied and generalized from a different point of view. Some problems are also presented.

A Bibliometric Analysis of Publications in Uremic Toxins From 1991 to 2024
ABSTRACT Background Uremic toxins are a growing area of research in nephrology, with significant implications in the progression and treatment of chronic kidney disease (CKD) and the management of end‐stage kidney disease (ESKD). This bibliometric analysis aims to evaluate the global research trends, key contributors, and the impact of publications in ...
