Sub-Nyquist pulse Doppler MIMO radar [PDF]

open access: yes2017 IEEE International Conference on Acoustics, Speech and Signal Processing (ICASSP), 2017
Pulse Doppler multiple input multiple output (MIMO) radar allows to simultaneously detect targets' range, azimuth and velocity. Achieving high resolution requires a large number of transmit and receive antennas, as well as high sampling rates leading to a torrent of samples.

High-speed, sub-Nyquist interferometry

open access: yesOptics Express, 2011
The velocity measurement limit in dynamic interferometry is vNyq, the velocity at which the interferogram is sampled at the Nyquist limit. We show that vNyq can be exceeded by assuming continuity of the surface motion and unwrapping the velocity modulo 2vNyq.

Compressive Detection Using Sub-Nyquist Radars for Sparse Signals

open access: yesInternational Journal of Antennas and Propagation, 2016
This paper investigates the compression detection problem using sub-Nyquist radars, which is well suited to the scenario of high bandwidths in real-time processing because it would significantly reduce the computational burden and save power consumption ...

Sub-Nyquist SAR via Quadrature Compressive Sampling with Independent Measurements

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2019
This paper presents an efficient sampling system for the acquisition of synthetic aperture radar (SAR) data at sub-Nyquist rate. The system adopts a quadrature compressive sampling architecture, which uses modulation, filtering, sampling and digital ...

Testbed for Sub-Nyquist Wideband Spectrum Monitoring

open access: yesRevista Ingenierías Universidad de Medellín, 2019
Radioelectric spectrum management is a concern for today’s world, mainly due to the misuse that has been given to this resource through the years, especially on the UHF band.

Sub-Nyquist computational ghost imaging with deep learning

open access: yesOptics Express, 2020
We propose a deep learning computational ghost imaging (CGI) scheme to achieve sub-Nyquist and high-quality image reconstruction. Unlike the second-order-correlation CGI and compressive-sensing CGI, which use lots of illumination patterns and a one-dimensional (1-D) light intensity sequence (LIS) for image reconstruction, a deep neural network (DAttNet)

A hardware prototype of sub‐Nyquist radar with unknown pulses

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 2021
In a conventional radar system, the hardware cost increases with the sampling rate of the receiver. Sub‐Nyquist radar systems operate at lower sampling rates and hence reduce the hardware cost and complexity. A sub‐Nyquist radar system uses the knowledge
