Multi-Subchannel Spread Spectrum Modulation

MILCOM 1982 - IEEE Military Communications Conference - Progress in Spread Spectrum Communications, 1982
A new spread spectrum technique called Multi-Subchannel Spread Spectrum Modulation (MSCSSM) is proposed. The system basically consists of the superposition of M different direct sequence (DS) spread spectrum systems having different carrier frequencies.

Subchannel Analysis of Large Power PWR

Volume 2A: Thermal Hydraulics, 2014
Researches of steady-state thermal hydraulic performance of a large power PWR had been made using the COBRA III C/MIT-2 code. The basic thermal hydraulic parameters and characteristics of the core channels were studied. The results showed that the hottest channel and the maximum enthalpy rise hot channel were not boiling.

Subchannel analysis in BWR fuel bundles

Annals of Nuclear Energy, 1985
Abstract Steady-state two-phase-flow calculations have been performed with the multidimensional drift-flux code canal . Flow-regime-dependent drift-flux parameters have been used to evaluate the flow quantities in the subchannels. Consistent modeling of the mixing components, e.g.

Development and Validation of Subchannel Code SUBSC

2017
SUBSC was developed to simulate thermal–hydraulic phenomena in the core of pressurized water reactors, as well as innovative reactors operated with supercritical water as coolant. Both precise IAPWS-IF97 formulations and approximating polynomial correlations were implemented to calculate properties of water.

Dynamic subchannel and bit allocation multicast OFDM systems

2004 IEEE 15th International Symposium on Personal, Indoor and Mobile Radio Communications (IEEE Cat. No.04TH8754), 2005
In multicast orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) systems, the difference in link conditions of users complicates adaptive modulation because modulation should be adjusted to serve the user who experiences the worst channel condition. If we assume that the multicast data are separated into layers and any combination of the layers can be ...

Subchannels allocation on multiple pDSL lines

International Symposium on Power Line Communications and Its Applications, 2005., 2005
The pDSL technology is used for providing multiple, high-speed broadband links over power lines in the indoor environment This work addresses the problem of bandwidth allocation between the various links of a pDSL network and proposes an algorithm for determining the allocation of the various subchannels during network activation and periodically ...

Subchannel rate assignments for multicarrier networks

TENCON 2007 - 2007 IEEE Region 10 Conference, 2007
A distributed subchannel rate assignment, which uses local information to assign the data rate on each subchannel of the multicarrier networks, is proposed. The proposed distributed subchannel rate assignment can work with cochannel interference and simulates the operation of the centralized subchannel rate assignment so that the maximal rate on each ...

Exploring and Exploiting Subchannels in the NTSC Spectrum

SMPTE Journal, 1988
