Indian Journal of Ophthalmology, 1992 A technique of subconjunctival total excision was used to treat 34 chronic chalazia. Another 34 were treated by incision and curettage and a further 32 by intralesional injection of long acting steroid.

Rapid growth of subconjunctival hematoma after uneventful small-incision cataract surgery in a patient taking low-dose aspirinA79-year-old man who ingested low-dose aspirin daily underwent phacoemulsification/aspiration and intraocular lens implantation in the left eye. The intraoperative course wasuneventful. Nine days after the surgery, he presented sudden bleeding, and a conjunctivaltumorous lesion was observed at the site of the scleral incision in the right eye.
