Diagnostic evaluation of patients with disorders of consciousness with diffusion tensor imaging
Background With the development of emergency and intensive medical technologies, the survival rate of traumatic brain injury has greatly increased. More and more patients have been converted from severe coma to alleviated state of consciousness, which ...

Novel licorice‐derived compound YCY‐20 attenuates cerebral ischemia–reperfusion injury by suppressing neuronal apoptosis. Mechanistic studies reveal its neuroprotection is mediated through inhibition of the AGE‐RAGE/MAPK pathway, providing a preclinical foundation for stroke therapeutics development.

A precise atlas of the human subcortex
Abstract Clinical interventions and neuroimaging in the subcortex require anatomical definitions that exceed the resolution and anatomical detail of currently available deformable brain atlases. Here, we introduce a high-resolution human brain atlas comprising 95 manually segmented grey and white matter structures as well as 82 white ...

Subcortex visualization: A toolbox for custom data visualization in the subcortex and cerebellum
Recent years have seen an expanding repertoire of code-based tools for visualizing neuroimaging data, promoting reproducibility and interpretability of brain-mapping findings. However, most open-source visualization packages for the human brain are geared toward the cerebral cortex, and the comparatively few options for the subcortex and cerebellum are

Stereological study on organelle distribution in human oocytes at metaphase-I [PDF]
The ultrastructure of metaphase-I (MI) human immature oocytes is largely unreported. Which organelles are more frequent and their location are questions without a comprehensive answer. The aim of this dissertation is to describe the ultrastructure of MI

Methylmercury distribution, metabolism, and neurotoxicity in the mouse brain
Methylmercury distribution, biotransformation, and neurotoxicity in the brain of male Swiss albino mice were investigated. Mice were orally dosed with [203Hg]methylmercury chloride (10 mg/kg) for 1 to 9 days.
