Exploring the psychometric properties of the externalizing spectrum inventory-brief form in a Swedish forensic psychiatric inpatient sample

open access: yesBMC Psychiatry, 2023
Background The Externalizing Spectrum Inventory-Brief Form (ESI-BF) [1] is a 160-item self-report instrument designed for the assessment of externalizing psychopathology, yet few studies to date have evaluated its psychometric properties, structural fit,

Life Narratives and the Ten Aspects of the Big Five Across Open‐Ended and Targeted Prompts

open access: yesJournal of Personality, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Personality psychology seeks to understand individuals' dispositional traits and other components of personality including self‐defining life narratives. Fluctuation theorems, quantum channels and gravitational algebras

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
In this note we study nonequilibrium fluctuations in gravitational algebras within de Sitter space. An essential aspect of this study is quantum measurement theory, which allows us to access the dynamical fluctuations of observables via a two-point ...

On the Range of the Index of Subfactors

open access: yesJournal of Functional Analysis, 1995
Let \(L\subset N\) and \(N\subset M\) be inclusions of type \(\text{II}_1\) irreducible factors, with the same finite minimal index. The author shows that the value of the index is severely restricted if \(L\subset M\) contains a sector with index from the Jones series \(4\cos^2{\pi\over m}\).

The subgroup-subfactor

open access: yesMATHEMATICA SCANDINAVICA, 2000
Summary: We compute the standard invariant of the `subgroup-subfactor' \(P\times_{\alpha|_H} H\subset P\times_\alpha G\), where \(\alpha\) denotes an outer action of a finite group \(G\) on \(\text{II}_1\) factor \(P\), and \(P\times_{\alpha|_H}H\) denotes the obvious crossed-product obtained by restricting the action to \(H\).

How Does Academic Marginalization Impact Mental Well‐Being? Exploring the Mediating Roles of Vocational Identity and Occupational Engagement

open access: yesThe Career Development Quarterly, Volume 74, Issue 2, Page 100-110, June 2026.
ABSTRACT In an increasingly volatile global job market, students’ career development is shaped by both personal capacities and structural barriers. This study examined how academic marginalization—particularly related to educational background—influences the mental well‐being of South Korean college students, with attention to the mediating roles of ...
