Enhancing Precision in PISA's 2022 Creative Thinking Assessment: Toward Aim‐Directed Item‐ and Factor‐Level Analyses

open access: yesThe Journal of Creative Behavior, Volume 60, Issue 2, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Large‐scale assessments often involve measurements with missing data where for a given student all items of a construct can be missing by design. In such circumstances, researchers are required to make methodological decisions in secondary analysis.

Psychometric Validity of the CES‐D Scale for Assessing Depressive Symptoms in University Students in Bogotá. Colombia

open access: yesInternational Journal of Methods in Psychiatric Research, Volume 35, Issue 2, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Introduction The Center for Epidemiological Studies Depression Scale (CES‐D) is a widely used tool for assessing depressive symptoms. This study examined its psychometric properties in a sample of 1738 university students in Bogotá. Methods Instrumental study with a cross‐sectional, single‐center design with two‐stage sampling. Exploratory and

The Latent Structure of Depression and Anxiety Symptoms: A Bifactor Exploratory Structural Equation Model of the PHQ‐9 and GAD‐7 in Primary Care

open access: yesInternational Journal of Methods in Psychiatric Research, Volume 35, Issue 2, June 2026.
ABSTRACT Introduction The high comorbidity between depression and anxiety challenges traditional nosological models. In order to better reflect this overlap, dimensional approaches seek to clarify whether these symptoms reflect a single underlying construct of general distress or a more complex multidimensionality. The aim was to examine the underlying

Correlates of psychological resilience and risk: Prospective associations of self‐reported and relative resilience with Connor‐Davidson resilience scale, heart rate variability, and mental health indices

open access: yesBrain and Behavior, 2021
Background There are several ways to determine psychological resilience. However, the correlation between each measurement is not clear. We explored associations of baseline relative “resilience” and risk with later self‐reported trait resilience and ...

Development and Early Validation of the Organisational Resilience Assessment Survey (ORAS): A Tool to Measure Organisational Resilience

open access: yesJournal of Contingencies and Crisis Management, Volume 34, Issue 2, June 2026.
ABSTRACT This paper presents the development and initial empirical validation of an Organisational Resilience Assessment Survey (ORAS) that combines a capability‐based perspective with empirical validation. This novel instrument is constructed to examine how various organisational factors and initiatives at the organisational level may contribute to ...

Lattices of Intermediate Subfactors

open access: yesJournal of Functional Analysis, 1996
The author studies the lattice structure of intermediate subfactors. Let \(N\) be a subfactor of a type \(\text{II}_1\) factor \(M\) and let the Jones index \([M:N]\) be finite. It is shown that if \(M\cap N'= \mathbb{C}\), then the intermediate subfactor lattice \(\text{Lat}(N\subset M)\) is a finite set.

The structure of psychiatric comorbidity without selection and assortative mating

open access: yesTranslational Psychiatry
The widespread comorbidity observed across psychiatric disorders may be the result of processes such as assortative mating, gene-environment correlation, or selection into population studies.
