Subgroups of đ-divisible groups and centralizers in symmetric groups [PDF]
We give a formula relating the transfer maps for the cohomology theories E n E_{n} and C t C_t to the transchromatic generalized character maps of a previous paper by the author. We then apply this to understand the effect of the transchromatic generalized character

This study uncovers the unexplored role of intermolecular interactions in multiphoton absorption in coordination polymers. By analyzing [Zn2tpda(DMA)2(DMF)0.3], it shows how the electronic coupling of the chromophores and confinement in the MOF enhance twoâand threeâphoton absorption.

Chiral SURMOFs for Vibrational Circular Dichroism: Multiscale Modeling and Experimental Insights
The use of solidâstate vibrational circular dichroism (VCD) for MOFs is still somewhat unexplored, and in this work, it is shown that chiral surfaceâanchored MOFs (SURMOFs) grown on CaF2 provide an excellent platform for VCD. Experimental results are validated through multiscale modeling, showing strong agreement across multiple spectroscopic ...

On the depth of subgroups of simple groups
The depth of a subgroup H of a finite group G is a positive integer defined with respect to the inclusion of the corresponding complex group algebras $\mathbb {C}H \subseteq \mathbb {C}G$ .

Triggered Ferroelectricity in HfO2 From Hybrid Phonons and HigherâOrder Dynamical Charges
We combine firstâprinciples calculations, LGD theory and group theory to demonstrate the mechanism of hybridâtriggered ferroelectricity in HfO2${\rm HfO}_2$, enabled by trilinear and quadlinear couplings between stable polar and nonpolar modes. HfO2${\rm HfO}_2$ hosts unconventional interplay between structure modes where substantial contribution to ...

Local connections of layer 5 GABAergic interneurons to corticospinal neurons
In the local circuit of the cerebral cortex, GABAergic inhibitory interneurons are considered to work in collaboration with excitatory neurons. Although many interneuron subgroups have been described in the cortex, local inhibitory connections of each ...

We investigate by proteomics studies how strandâsymmetric and âasymmetric cytosine 5âmodifications in DNA are selectively recognized by the nuclear proteome. Using promoter probes with defined modification patterns, we identify tissueâspecific reader proteinsincluding MYC, MAX, and RFX5that discriminate 5âhydroxymethylcytosine symmetry and sequence ...

An Authenticated Key Agreement Scheme Based on Cyclic Automorphism Subgroups of Random Orders
Group-based cryptography is viewed as a modern cryptographic candidate solution to blocking quantum computer attacks, and key exchange protocols on the Internet are one of the primitives to ensure the security of communication.
