Flow Characteristics of Oblique Submerged Impinging Jet at Various Impinging Heights
To study the influence of impinging height H/D on the flow field characteristics of oblique submerged impinging jets, the numerical calculation of an oblique submerged impinging jet was carried out based on Wray–Agarwal (W–A) turbulence model.

Research on Cavitation Characteristics of Two-Throat Nozzle Submerged Jet
Ship fouling not only increases ship resistance and fuel consumption but is equally a type of biological invasion, which causes severe ecological damage. Submerged cavitation jet cleaning is an environmentally friendly, high-efficiency, and energy-saving

Sediment Removal from Deep Reservoir Dams by Suction and Jet Flow [PDF]
One method of sediment removal from dam reservoirs is the use of submerged pumps and suction mixes of sediment and water. This method is usually considered for shallow rivers but we want to adopt this method for large dams.

Development of turbulence in subsonic submerged jets [PDF]
Abstract The development of turbulence in subsonic submerged jets is reviewed. It is shown that the turbulence results from a strong amplification of the weak input noise that is always present in the jet nozzle exit section. At a certain distance from the nozzle the amplification becomes essentially nonlinear.

Effect of Nozzle Outlet Shape on Cavitation Behavior of Submerged High-Pressure Jet
A submerged high-pressure water jet is usually accompanied by severe cavitation phenomenon. An organ pipe nozzle can greatly improve the cavitation performance of the jet, making use of the self-excited oscillation of the flow.

Bed load transport by submerged jets [PDF]
Some similarities are presented between the bed load transport of noncohesive grains in long rivers and at a local, jet-induced scour. Experiments are described in which a submerged two-dimensional slot nozzle, inclined downward, eroded a deep sand bed.
