Random walks in the high-dimensional limit II: the crinkled subordinator
A crinkled subordinator is an $\ell^2$-valued random process which can be thought of as a version of the usual one-dimensional subordinator with each out of countably many jumps being in a direction orthogonal to the directions of all other jumps.

Some Properties of the Kilbas-Saigo Function
We characterize the complete monotonicity of the Kilbas-Saigo function on the negative half-line. We also provide the exact asymptotics at −∞, and uniform hyperbolic bounds are derived.

The deFinetti representation of generalised Marshall–Olkin sequences
We show that each infinite exchangeable sequence τ1, τ2, . . . of random variables of the generalised Marshall–Olkin kind can be uniquely linked to an additive subordinator via its deFinetti representation. This is useful for simulation, model estimation,

Let \(s(F)\) denote the family of functions that are subordinate to a function \(F\) analytic in the open unit disk \(\Delta\). Let \(Hs(F)\) denote the closed convex hull of \(s(F)\). Let \({\mathcal F}\) denote the set of functions \(F\) having the property that \(Hs(F)=\bigl\{\int_{| x|=1} F(xz)d\mu(x)\bigr\}\) where \(\mu\) varies over the ...

The semantic map of when and its typological parallels
In this paper, we explore the semantic map of the English temporal connective when and its parallels in more than 1,000 languages drawn from a parallel corpus of New Testament translations.

Early life adversity triggers persistent social subordination and brain‐wide molecular dysregulation. Pharmacological inhibition of the stress‐mediator FKBP51 during the adversity period prevents these long‐term deficits and restores normative social hierarchy.

Specifičnosti upotrebe leksema law u modernom standardnom arapskom jeziku

The Power of Unity: Collective Action and Smallholder Agricultural Performance in West Africa
ABSTRACT We analyze the impact of collective action through farmer‐based organizations (FBOs) on smallholders' farm performance and income inequality in Ghana, Benin, The Gambia, and Mali. We find that FBO membership increases cereal yield in Ghana and The Gambia, legume yield in Mali, ruminant numbers in Benin and The Gambia, and total farm income in ...

In this note we look into detail at the box-counting dimension of subordinators. Given that $X$ is a non-decreasing Levy process, which is not a compound Poisson process, we show that in the limit, the minimum number of boxes of size $δ$ that cover the range of $(X_s)_{s\leq t}$ is a.s.
