Reflecting topological properties in closed separable subspaces
Abstract We establish that, for any metrizable space X, if every closed separable subspace of X has the Baire property, then the space X has the Baire property. The same reflection result holds for spaces $$C_p(X)$$ C

This figure illustrates the architecture of the PMCB fault diagnosis model with multi‐source heterogeneous cross‐modal fusion. It integrates core modules to realize high‐precision, low false‐alarm condition monitoring and diagnosis. ABSTRACT Aiming at the defects of current diagnosis methods for Primary and Secondary Integrated Pole Mounted Circuit ...

Topological Transitions in a Kerr Nonlinear Oscillator
A Kerr nonlinear oscillator (KNO) supports a pair of steady eigenstates, coherent states with opposite phases, that are good for the encoding of continuous variable qubit basis states.

How (not) to Cage an Electron: The Perfluoro Cage Effect as an Extrinsic Molecular Property
A rigorous definition within Kohn–Sham density functional theory is presented for the notion of an caged electron inside perfluorinated fullerenes as radical anions. ABSTRACT The notion of a (molecular) electron cage was coined for the unique hosting capacity of perfluorocubane, suggesting the “encapsulation of an electron” within the highly symmetric ...

The idea of electric-drive-reconstructed onboard charger (EDROC) systems, along with the concept of dual-channel charging, offers a novel design, thought to enhance the integration and fault tolerance of the charging system of electric vehicles (EVs ...

On Dense Metrizable Subspaces of Topological Spaces
In this note we investigate the question: when does the metrizability of a dense subspace of a topological space imply the metrizability of the whole space? We show that certain conditions always fail to be sufficient and then we examine some elementary examples.

Abstract This paper is devoted to the approximation of two‐ and three‐dimensional Dirac operators HV∼δΣ$H_{\widetilde{V} \delta _\Sigma }$ with combinations of electrostatic and Lorentz scalar δ$\delta$‐shell interactions in the norm resolvent sense. Relying on results from Behrndt, Holzmann, and Stelzer‐Landauer [Math. Nachr.

Abstract String theory has strong implications for cosmology, implying the absence of a cosmological constant, ruling out single‐field slow‐roll inflation, and that black holes decay. The origins of these statements are elucidated within the string‐theoretical swampland programme.

Uncovering Exotic Topological Quantum States in Pure and Magnetically‐Doped Pyrite OsS2
Pyrite‐structured OsS2 is identified as a fragile topological insulator with an unprecedented 602 meV bandgap, featuring helical surface states and van Hove singularities amenable to ARPES verification. Magnetic doping with Pd, Fe, Ni, or Co induces phase transitions to strong topological insulators, semimetals, 3D quantum anomalous Hall insulators ...
