Coaxially fed substrate integrated radiating waveguides
2007 IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society International Symposium, 2007In the present paper the study of coaxially fed substrate integrated waveguides (SIW) structures is presented. A novel feed configuration is proposed consisting of a ring loaded coaxial probe. The analysis of the structure is carried out with the method of moments and with FEM (HFSS). Applications to radiating SIW will be presented.

Substrate integrated waveguide circularly polarized antenna
2013 IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society International Symposium (APSURSI), 2013A novel circularly polarized array antenna based on substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) is presented in this paper. The array element, a circularly polarized radiator, consists of two 45° inclined radiating slots. Its feeding port is very simple. The axial ratio in the main beam direction is less than 3dB. And the gain of one unit cell is around 4dBi.

Corrugated substrate integrated waveguide distributed amplifier
2012 Asia Pacific Microwave Conference Proceedings, 2012A distributed amplifier directly compatible with half-mode substrate integrated waveguide is proposed. In halfmode substrate integrated waveguide (HMSIW), the top and bottom conductors of the printed circuit board form the top and bottom walls of the waveguide, whilst a row of vias form the side-wall.
