Substrate Integrated Waveguide Corrugated Horn Antenna
Wireless Personal Communications, 2019In this paper, a substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) H-plane horn antenna is proposed. We first optimize the antenna in size to obtain the maximum gain. The SIW horn antenna is then corrugated by adding some vias in order to further improve the beam pattern. We use half power beam width (HPBW) as a metric for this improvement.

Substrate integrated radiating waveguides with a coaxial feed
2nd European Conference on Antennas and Propagation (EuCAP 2007), 2007In the present paper the study of coaxially fed substrate integrated waveguides (SIW) structures is presented. A novel feed configuration is proposed consisting of a ring loaded coaxial probe. The analysis of the structure is carried out with the method of moments and with FEM (HFSS). Applications to radiating SIW will be presented. (4 pages)

Development of substrate integrated waveguide power dividers

No.03CH37436), 2004Two classes of substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) power divider are presented, namely, Y- and T-types. Using arrays of via, the SIW power dividers and microstrip transitions are integrated on the same substrate. Design models are presented respectively for the Y- and T-junctions.

Millimeter-wave substrate integrated waveguide filters
CCECE 2003 - Canadian Conference on Electrical and Computer Engineering. Toward a Caring and Humane Technology (Cat. No.03CH37436), 2004This paper presents the design and performance of millimeter waves filter realized with the SIW technology. Using the SIW, low-cost filter can be manufactured at millimeter-wave without tuning. A design methodology for Butterworth or Chebychev prototype is presented. Also a dual-mode filter is presented to improve the out of band rejection.
