The substrate of criminal-legal influence

open access: yesCuestiones Políticas, 2021
The aim of the article is found on the idea of measure as a substrate of criminal-legal influence. The publication proposes to consider the measure as a substrate of external forms of legal influence and criminal-legal measure as a primary element of all external forms of criminal-legal influence (in connection with the commission of a criminal act ...

Substrate and cell fusion influence on slime mold network dynamics

open access: yesScientific Reports, 2021
The acellular slime mold Physarum polycephalum provides an excellent model to study network formation, as its network is remodelled constantly in response to mass gain/loss and environmental conditions.

Evolution of anodic stress corrosion cracking in a coated material [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
In the present paper, we investigate the influence of corrosion driving forces and interfacial toughness for a coated material subjected to mechanical loading. If the protective coating is cracked, the substrate material may become exposed to a corrosive

Microbial Lead(II) Precipitation: the Influence of Growth Substrate

open access: yesChemical Engineering Transactions, 2018
The objective of the study was to explore the influence of various growth substrates on the removal of aqueous lead from solution. The fermentation media tested consisted of glucose- and xylose-supplemented LB-broth, with and without CaCO3 as pH buffer ...

Sputtering parameters effect on microstructural parameters of TiN coating via the Williamson-Hall analysis

open access: yesMaterials Research Express, 2020
Titanium nitride (TiN) coatings were deposited on Zr-4 substrate by direct current magnetron sputtering. The microstructural property of the as-deposited coating was studied by means of x-ray diffraction (XRD).

Influence of substrate types and reflector proximities over a NDTC antenna [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
The influence of dissimilar substrates and reflector proximities over a newly developed Non-uniformly Distributed-Turns Coil (NDTC) antenna for High-Frequency (HF) Radio Frequency IDentification (RFID) applications is presented.

Substrate effects on surface magetetism of Fe/W(110) from first principles

open access: yes, 2006
Surface magnetic properties of the pseudomorphic Fe(110) monolayer on a W(110) substrate are investigated from first principles as a function of the substrate thickness (up to eight layers).

Effect of Substrate on One-Dimensional Multiferroic Properties

open access: yesMagnetochemistry, 2022
We present a theoretical study of the substrate influence on the electrical and magnetic properties of a one-dimensional multiferroic. We used a one-dimensional axial next-nearest neighbor Ising model (1D ANNNI model).

Influence of Substrate Temperature on Structural, Electrical and Optical Properties of ZnO:Al Thin Films [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Transparent and conductive aluminium-doped zinc oxide thin films have been prepared by dc magnetron sputtering technique using targets composed of ZnO and aluminium. Polycrystalline ZnO:Al films were deposited onto a heated glass substrate.

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.
