Multilayer Substrate Integrated Waveguide (SIW) Filters With Higher-Order Mode Suppression
IEEE Microwave and Wireless Components Letters, 2016This letter presents a multilayer approach for suppressing the higher order modes of substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) bandpass filters. Rectangular SIW resonators in multilayer substrates can be vertically coupled with magnetic and/or electric coupling by the proposed apertures etched on the middle metal layer.

Wireless Personal Communications, 2017A filtering power divider/power combiner using substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) cavities and microstrip transmission lines with high selectivity is presented. In this paper, two cavities which resonate in SIW $$\mathrm{TE}_{102}$$TE102 and SIW $$\mathrm{TE}_{201}$$TE201 modes are cascaded to make a bandpass-filtering response (SIW network).
