Experimental Study of Substrate Temperature
Optical Interference Coatings, 1988Substrate temperature is one of the most important processing parameters for optical coating deposition, especially in infrared range in which most of high refractive index coating materials are narrow gap semiconductors. The properties of the coatings deposited with these materials are strongly dependent on the substrate temperature.[1]

The influence of the substrate and the substrate temperature on the crystallinity of tin films
Thin Solid Films, 1980Abstract Thin films of tin were prepared on various substrates (NaCl, KCl, KBr and KI) and at various substrate temperatures (28–90°C) and were studied using transmission electron microscopy and selected area electron diffraction techniques. To determine the dependence on cleanness, tin was deposited on single-crystal surfaces prepared by vacuum ...

High temperature electronics packaging: An overview of substrates for high temperature
2015 IEEE International Symposium on Circuits and Systems (ISCAS), 2015High temperature electronics (>200˚C) is an emerging technical area in electronics that requires new materials and processes or existing materials and processes in new ways. Results of reliability testing of packaging materials for >200˚C are presented so that the selection of appropriate packaging may be made to target an applications temperature and ...

Substrate-Temperature Measurement and Control
Journal of Vacuum Science and Technology, 1966Knowledge of the glass-substrate temperature and its control is often very important in the vacuum deposition of nickel-iron thin films. Discrepancies in vacuum-component-temperature measurements and control prompted a study on the subject. A theoretical investigation showed that a large-area low-temperature radiation source would be most desirable for

Blasting to the Substrate of Various Temperatures
AIP Conference Proceedings, 2010Blasting is a substrate processing technique during which spherical or granular materials made of metal or ceramics are jetted against the substrate surface using compressed air. The high speed colliding of blasting materials against the surface produces a peening effect. The purpose of blasting is to create a clean substrate surface.

Temperature Sensor in a Flexible Substrate
IEEE Sensors Journal, 2012This paper presents the fabrication and measured performance of temperature sensors embedded in flexible polyimide substrates. The sensing material used for the temperature sensor was undoped amorphous silicon which was fabricated on a 35-m-thick layer of polyimide that serves as the flexible substrate.

Substrates for high - temperature superconductors
Physica C: Superconductivity, 1991Abstract Potential applications as well as fundamental studies of high - temperature superconductors (HTSC) require improvements in epitaxial processes and development of novel substrates. The substrates used so far (SrTiO3, MgO, Al2O3, ZrO2:Y, LaGaO3, Si) do not fulfil the requirements for optimized growth and HTSC properties.
