Lysine acetyltransferase 2A (KAT2A) is a critical catalytic component within transcriptional regulatory complexes and plays a significant role in triple‐negative breast cancer (TNBC). To investigate its underlying mechanism, this study demonstrates that KAT2A catalyzes succinylation at the H3K79 site to promote SH2B3 transcription and enhance its ...

Racial differences in kidney cancer histology and outcome: A nationwide study from the UroCCR Cohort
ABSTRACT Introduction Racial differences in renal cell carcinoma (RCC) have been well described in U.S. cohorts, particularly for common histologic subtypes. However, such differences remain underexplored in European populations, especially for rare RCC subtypes and within universal health care settings.

Treatment of MPTP‐incubated cells with NAD+‐boosters increase the UPRmt/mitophagy‐related mitochondria quality control (MQC). Disturbed plasma UPRmt‐mitophagy‐mediated MQC profiles in PD patient samples. NMN inhibits motor deficit and forestalls neuropathology phenotypes of PD mice, which is required the atf4‐medicated UPRmt pathway.

This study demonstrates that the transport of lactate to the mitochondria is of critical importance in determining the functions of macrophages by altering mitochondrial respiration. In macrophages, this lactate transport mechanism regulates glucose homeostasis by influencing the functions of insulin‐secreting cells in the pancreatic islets.

Integrating Metabolic Modulation and Nanomedicine for Cancer Immunotherapy
Metabolic rewiring in cancer is mapped across glucose, amino acid, lipid, nucleotide, and mitochondrial pathways, with emphasis on immune regulation. The review integrates mechanisms linking these pathways to tumor progression and therapy resistance, and profiles nanomaterial platforms that both deliver therapeutics and actively reprogram ...
