Sudden Death of Entanglement Induced by Polarization Mode Dispersion [PDF]
We study the decoherence of polarization-entangled photon pairs subject to the effects of polarization mode dispersion, the chief polarization decoherence mechanism in optical fibers. We show that fiber propagation reveals an intriguing interplay between the concepts of entanglement sudden death, decoherence-free sub-spaces and non-locality.

Effect of random telegraph noise on entanglement and nonlocality of a qubit-qutrit system [PDF]
We study the evolution of entanglement and nonlocality of a non-interacting qubit-qutrit system under the effect of random telegraph noise (RTN) in independent and common environments in Markovian and non-Markovian regimes.

Entanglement between two superconducting garge qubits
In this paper, we investigated the dynamics of entanglement of two identical charge qubits with Josephson junctions in the case when one of the qubits is exposed to a microwave field in a coherent or thermal state. We have found the exact solution of the

Dynamics of the entanglement between two oscillators in the same environment [PDF]
We provide a complete characterization of the evolution of entanglement between two oscillators coupled to a common environment. For initial Gaussian states we identify three phases with different qualitative long time behavior: There is a phase where ...

Time-invariant entanglement and sudden death of nonlocality [PDF]
We investigate both theoretically and experimentally the dynamics of entanglement and non-locality for two qubits immersed in a global pure dephasing environment. We demonstrate the existence of a class of states for which entanglement is forever frozen during the dynamics, even if the state of the system does evolve.

Influence of Stark Shift on Entanglement of Two Qubits in the Two-Photon Tavis-Cummings Model
Considering two-atom degenerate two-photon Tavis-Cummings model, we investigate the entanglement between two atoms prepared initially in the coherent disentangled states and cavity field prepared in few-photon Fock state, and study the effect of the ...

Open Quantum Systems in Noninertial Frames [PDF]
We study the effects of decoherence on the entanglement generated by Unruh effect in noninertial frames by using bit flip, phase damping and depolarizing channels. It is shown that decoherence strongly influences the initial state entanglement.

Entanglement sudden death and sudden birth in two uncoupled spins [PDF]
We investigate the entanglement evolution of two qubits interacting with a common environment trough an Heisenberg XX mechanism. We reveal the possibility of realizing the phenomenon of entanglement sudden death as well as the entanglement sudden birth ...

Enhancement of Sudden Death of Entanglement for Driven Qubits [PDF]
We study the recently discovered phenomena of sudden death of entanglement for a system of two qubits, each of them independently longitudinally damped by a reservoir and subjected to a continuous driving. We show that driving produces, in the interaction picture, an effective bath that has elements amounting to various extra sources of noise ...
