Cluster and principal component analyses for assessment of genetic diversity in Saccharum spontaneum

open access: yesJournal of Sugarcane Research, 2023
Forty three Saccharum spontaneum accessions were evaluated using eighteen drought tolerance related traits. The Euclidean based dendrogram divided the accessions into three different clusters. Euclidean distances ranged from 7.65 to 140.23.

Combining Electrochemical Reduction with Biosynthesis for Directed Conversion of CO2 into a Library of C3 Chemicals

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In the H‐type electrolytic cell, carbon dioxide is reduced to acetic acid via electro‐microbial catalysis. The simply processed acetic acid is further converted through biological fermentation into high‐value‐added products, including acrylic acid, L‐lactic acid, and β‐alanine.

Comparative transcriptome analysis of two sugarcane varieties in response to diazotrophic plant growth promoting endophyte Enterobacter roggenkampii ED5

open access: yesJournal of Plant Interactions, 2022
Diazotrophic plant growth-promoting endophytic (DPGPEB) bacterium plays an important role in plant growth and development. However, the molecular mechanism of the interaction between DPGPEB and sugarcane is still less known.

Enhanced Energy Harvesting Performance of Biodegradable Polylactic Acid/3D Anodic Aluminum Oxide Composite Triboelectric Nanogenerators

open access: yesAdvanced Electronic Materials, EarlyView.
Polylactic acid (PLA) embedded in 3D anodic aluminum oxide (3D‐AAO) yields triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs) with ɛeff = 5.1, delivering 20V and 108µW both per cm2. These agglomeration‐resistant, compostable/biocompatible devices retain 95% output after 104 cycles, enabling robust self‐powered Internet of Things (IoT) sensing.
