The Planter, 2006A field experiment was conducted to evaluate some insect pest resistant promising sugarcane clones viz, I 137-96, I 131-97, I 202-97 and standard varieties like Isd 20, Isd 28 and Isd 29. The tests were done at two locations viz. Ishurdi and Thakurgaon during the cropping seasons of 2001-2002 to 2003-2004.
