Water Requirement for Sugarcane Production

Transactions of the ASAE, 1980
ABSTRACT SIX lysimeters were used to control water tables at 30, 60, and 90 cm below the muck soil surface for sugar-cane culture. An evaluation of effective rainfall showed that about 3.4 cm of rainfall was stored in the soil for each 100 cm increase in water table depth.
