Fault Detection and Classification in Five‐Level Reduced Device Count Multilevel Inverter Using Fuzzy Logic System

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, Volume 14, Issue 5, Page 2626-2643, May 2026.
A fuzzy logic–based diagnostic framework for a reduced device count multilevel inverter to accurately detect and classify open‐circuit faults. ABSTRACT The reliable performance of multilevel inverters (MLIs) is critical to the advancement of power electronic systems used in renewable energy conversion, microgrid operation, and electric vehicle ...

Modeling attitudes toward uncertainty through the use of the Sugeno integral [PDF]

open access: yes
The aim of the paper is to present under uncertainty, and in an ordinal framework, an axiomatic treatment of the Sugeno integral in terms of preferences which parallels some earlier derivations devoted to the Choquet integral.

Berwald-type inequalities for Sugeno integral with respect to ( α , m , r ) g ${ ( {\alpha,m,r} )_{g}}$ -concave functions

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2016
In this paper, we introduce the concept of an ( α , m , r ) g ${ ( {\alpha,m,r} )_{g}}$ -concave function as a generalization of a concave function. Then we establish Berwald-type inequalities for the Sugeno integral based on this kind of functions.

Restoring decision‐making capacity through ECT to enable clozapine initiation in treatment‐resistant schizophrenia: An ethical and clinical case report

open access: yesPsychiatry and Clinical Neurosciences Reports, Volume 5, Issue 1, March 2026.
Abstract Background Treatment‐resistant schizophrenia (TRS) is often accompanied by poor insight and impaired decision‐making capacity (DMC), complicating the initiation of clozapine (CLZ) despite clear clinical indications. In Japan, CLZ utilization is markedly lower than in many foreign countries, partly due to concerns about adverse effects ...

Sugeno Integral for Rule-Based Ordinal Classification

open access: yes, 2018
International audienceWe present a method for modeling empirical data by a rule set in ordinal classification problems. This method is nonparametric and uses an intermediary model based on Sugeno integral.

Real‐Time Detection and Prevention of DoS Attack in Unmanned Marine Vehicles Using Machine Learning

open access: yesSECURITY AND PRIVACY, Volume 9, Issue 2, March/April 2026.
ABSTRACT Unmanned marine vehicles (UMVs) are one of the most crucial components of the underwater communication and surveillance system in the marine and oceanographic environment. This research introduces a novel approach to stabilize the connection in an unstable underwater environment by inheriting features of communication velocities.

Adaptive Fuzzy PID Control of Two‐DOF Pneumatic Artificial Muscle Manipulators for Leg Rehabilitation

open access: yesEngineering Reports, Volume 8, Issue 2, February 2026.
Two‐degree‐of‐freedom manipulator driven by PAM. ABSTRACT Rehabilitation robots are machines that allow patients to perform practice movements and ought to be sufficiently compliant for safe human interaction. Most robots today use hydraulic systems and continually rotating servo motors, making them less suitable for rehabilitation.

On Sugeno integral as an aggregation function [PDF]

open access: yes, 1997
peer reviewedThe Sugeno integral, for a given fuzzy measure, is studied under the viewpoint of aggregation. In particular, we give some equivalent expressions of it.

Sugeno Integral on Property-Based Preference Domains

open access: yes, 2017
We consider decision problems in which we have to compare and rank a set of alternatives and each alternative is defined by its attributes or properties. We introduce and characterize property-based preference domains.
