The overall aim of this thesis was to create a transdiagnostic perspective of suicidal ideation. To this end, we studied suicidal ideation among individuals living with a mental disorder, specifically among individuals living with major depressive disorder in the Netherlands, and among individuals with first-episode psychosis in Europe.
