Regulation of sulfate uptake, expression of the sulfate transporters Sultr1;1 and Sultr1;2, and APS reductase in Chinese cabbage (Brassica pekinensis) as affected by atmospheric H(2)S nutrition and sulfate deprivation [PDF]
The activity and expression of sulfate transporters and adenosine 5'-phosphosulfate (APS) reductase (APR) in plants are modulated by the plant sulfur status and the demand for growth.

Determination of sulfate in the wet-process of phosphoric acid by reverse flow injection
An improved method based on reverse flow injection is proposed for determining sulfate concentration in the wet-process of phosphoric acid (WPA). The effect of reagent composition, flow rate, temperature, acid concentration, length of the reaction coil ...

Dimethyl sulfate and diisopropyl sulfate as practical and versatile O-sulfation reagents
AbstractO-Sulfation is a vital post-translational modification in bioactive molecules, yet there are significant challenges with their synthesis. Dialkyl sulfates, such as dimethyl sulfate and diisopropyl sulfate are commonly used as alkylation agents in alkaline conditions, and result in the formation of sulfate byproducts.

CEACAM1 participation in breast cancer progression
In invasive breast cancer (BC), CEACAM1 shifts from an apical to a uniform membranous/cytoplasmic pattern, or is lost, as tumors dedifferentiate, inversely tracking the Ki‐67 proliferative index. In MCF‐7 cells, only CEACAM1‐4L suppresses proliferation, repressing cell cycle and growth factor genes.

Sulfate-Bridged, Octanuclear Chromic and Ferric Wheels [PDF]
Two new amine-templated transition metal-based sulfates, [(CH3)2NH2]17.4 [SO4]0.7 [MIII8(μ2-OH)8(μ2-SO4)16] where M = Cr and Fe, have been synthesized via mild solvothermal synthesis.

Expression and activity of sulfate transporters and APS reductase in curly kale in response to sulfate deprivation and re-supply [PDF]
Both activity and expression of sulfate transporters and APS reductase in plants are modulated by the sulfur status of the plant. To examine the regulatory mechanisms in curly kale (Brossica olerracea L.), the sulfate supply was manipulated by the ...

Screening and epitope characterization of Nidogen‐2‐specific nanobodies
Camel immunization and phage display were employed to generate high‐affinity VHH nanobodies against Nidogen‐2. After library construction, biopanning, ELISA screening, sequencing, and recombinant expression, selected nanobodies were purified and characterized, leading to the preliminary exploration of a nanobody‐based sandwich ELISA for specific ...
