Biomaterial design strategies for enhancing mitochondrial transplantation therapy
Biomaterials to facilitate mitochondrial transplantation therapy: biomaterials as barriers to protect mitochondria from pathophysiological microenvironments, like osmotic stress caused by the excessive concentration of calcium ion, reactive oxygen species, and advanced glycation end products; biomaterials integrating with biochemical cues to improve ...

Velocity and Density Fluctuations in the Quiet Sun Corona
Abstract We investigate the properties and relationship between Doppler velocity fluctuations and intensity fluctuations in the off-limb quiet Sun corona. These are expected to reflect the properties of Alfvénic and compressive waves, respectively. The data come from the Coronal Multichannel Polarimeter (COMP).

Magnetohydrodynamic Wave Behaviour in the Vicinity of Proper and Improper Magnetic Null Points
Context: Both MHD waves and magnetic null points are prevalent in many astrophysical plasmas, including the solar corona, and as such their interaction is inevitable.

MHD mode conversion of fast and slow magnetoacoustic waves in the solar corona
There are three main wave types present in the Sun’s atmosphere: Alfvén waves and fast and slow magnetoacoustic waves. Alfvén waves are purely magnetic and would not exist if it was not for the Sun’s magnetic field.

Maximizing Neurovascular Outcomes of Facial Transplantation: A Comprehensive Review
ABSTRACT Facial transplantation is a division of reconstructive surgery which aims to improve the function and appearance of a face that has endured severe disfigurement. Currently, the face transplant procedure uses allogenic tissue, harvested from a brain‐dead donor, to replace damaged facial components.

The investigation of quasi-separatrix layers in solar magnetic fields
The structure of the magnetic field is often an important factor in many energetic processes in the solar corona. To determine the topology of the magnetic field features such as null points, separatrix surfaces, and separators must be found.

Statin‐associated muscle symptoms (SAMS) are frequent adverse effects of statin therapy and have been hypothesized to result from impaired coenzyme Q10 (CoQ10) biosynthesis. Although genetic determinants of CoQ10 levels have been reported, genome‐wide association studies (GWASs) conducted specifically in statin users are lacking. Moreover, direct CoQ10
