Architected Spatially Deterministic Multiscale Phase Segregation in Block Copolymer Composites for Augmented Radiative Cooling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Multiscale phase segregation in block copolymers enables spatially deterministic structuring from molecular to macroscopic scales, decoupling solar scattering and infrared emission for augmented radiative cooling. ABSTRACT Passive radiative cooling, which reflects solar irradiation while emitting heat through the atmospheric window, provides a ...

Multifunctional Ionic Liquid Enabling Cation Homogenization and Lead Chelation for Pure‐Iodide Wide‐Bandgap Perovskite Solar Cells

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work presents a multifunctional ionic liquid, [SO3H‐PMIm][OTf], that addresses A‐site cation inhomogeneity and lead toxicity in pure‐iodide wide‐bandgap perovskite solar cells. The additive enables homogeneous cation distribution, achieving 22.02% efficiency with 90% retention after 3000 h and reducing lead leakage by over 58%, thereby ...

Q‐LEAP: Millisecond Hyperdimensional Optimization for Full‐Spectrum Optical Metamaterials

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Q‐LEAP integrates physics‐informed residual machine learning with factorization‐machine‐encoded quantum annealing to design full‐spectrum optical metamaterials. It explores a 2108 design space and, in a single 2.56 ms annealing step, reaches 85.83% of the theoretical FoM limit, enabling selective 5‐8 µm emission with 3–5 and 8–14 µm suppression and ∼40×

Near‐Unity Photothermal Conversion in Bimetallic M44 and M81 Nanoclusters Enables NIR‐Driven Photo‐Thermo‐Electricity Generation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Atomically precise nanoclusters of Au/Ag alloys are explored as high‐performance photothermal materials, delivering record‐high photothermal efficiencies (up to 91%). Photo‐thermo‐electricity is further demonstrated by integrating nanocluster films with thermoelectric devices.
