Three theoretical kinetic models were used to analyze the experimental results: the pseudo-first order kinetic model, the pseudo-second order kinetic model and the Elovich kinetic model.

Fuel Processing Technology, 2011 Abstract Sunflower-seed hulls (SSH) represent a source of combustible biomass characterised by high contents of potassium and phosphorus and a low silica content. The relatively high net calorific value of 20 MJ/kg d.m. is mainly influenced by the lignin content.
