Ozone and the sunspot‐cycle

Eos, Transactions American Geophysical Union, 1933
The ozone under consideration lies in a layer some 50 kilometers above sea‐level. It may, in diminishing quantity, extend down to 20 or up to 80 kilometers (Chalonge, 1932). The means used in the measurement of its altitude do not lend themselves to great accuracy.
