A Fast Sparse Azimuth Super-Resolution Imaging Method of Real Aperture Radar Based on Iterative Reweighted Least Squares With Linear Sketching

open access: yesIEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing, 2021
It is greatly significant to achieve radar forward-looking region imaging. Due to the limitation of phase ambiguity and small Doppler gradient in forward-looking region, synthetic aperture radar and Doppler beam sharpening cannot work for forward-looking

Comparative Evaluation of Hemodiafiltration, Hemoperfusion, and Standard Hemodialysis on Efficacy, Inflammatory Control, Dialysis Adequacy, and Safety in End‐Stage Renal Disease: A Prospective Observational Study

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Chronic micro‐inflammation in patients with end‐stage renal disease (ESRD) is a significant driver of cardiovascular complications and diminished quality of life. While standard hemodialysis (SHD) effectively manages small‐molecule clearance, its ability to remove medium‐to‐large uremic toxins—the primary catalysts of systemic ...

Reciprocal control of viral infection and phosphoinositide dynamics

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Phosphoinositides, although scarce, regulate key cellular processes, including membrane dynamics and signaling. Viruses exploit these lipids to support their entry, replication, assembly, and egress. The central role of phosphoinositides in infection highlights phosphoinositide metabolism as a promising antiviral target.

Monitoring Axial Force Development in a Super-Long Pile during Construction Using BOFDA and Data Interpretation Approaches: A Case Study

open access: yesBuildings, 2022
Long-term monitoring data for super-long piles are scarce and valuable. This paper reports axial strain measurements of a cast-in-place large-diameter pile embedded 76.7 m into a “weathered trench” of granite in Nanshan District, Shenzhen, China, using ...

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.
