Micro Flash Resistance Welding of Super Duplex Stainless Steel
Super duplex stainless steels were welded using a new flash butt welding technology of temperature controlling. Flash butt welding consists of two stage processes. First stage is a flashing action. The specimen produced a flashing or arcing across the interface of the two butting ends of the specimens.

ADAR1 Controls Macrophage Scavenging and Lipid‐Buffering Programs in Metabolic Tissues
ADAR1 expression increase during monocyte‐to‐macrophage differentiation via an alternative transcription start site. Isoform‐specific ADAR1 activity governs key macrophage functions, including efferocytosis, endocytosis, lipid metabolism, and proliferation.

Fatigue strength assessment of duplex and super-duplex stainless steels by 4R method [PDF]
Duplex and super-duplex stainless steels are increasingly used in applications where good fatigue strength is demanded in addition to corrosion resistance. In this research work, the fatigue strength of duplex and super-duplex steels was investigated experimentally, using standard fatigue strength assessment methods, and theoretically, using ...

Welding power and post‐weld heat treatment (PWHT) at 850°C influence phase transformations in S32205 duplex stainless steel, promoting sigma phase formation and reducing corrosion resistance. PWHT at 850°C also replicates HAZ‐like microstructures in base metal, enabling improved characterization of weld joint properties.
