Transcending the Limit of Local Window: Advanced Super-Resolution Transformer with Adaptive Token Dictionary [PDF]

open access: yesComputer Vision and Pattern Recognition
Single Image Super-Resolution is a classic computer vision problem that involves estimating high-resolution (HR) images from low-resolution (LR) ones.

Super-resolution enabled widefield quantum diamond microscopy

open access: yes, 2023
Widefield quantum diamond microscopy (WQDM) based on Kohler-illumination has been widely adopted in the field of quantum sensing, however, practical applications are still limited by issues such as unavoidable photodamage and unsatisfied spatial ...

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

Accelerated CT Sub-pixel Super Resolution

open access: yese-Journal of Nondestructive Testing
The resolution of standard CT scans is dictated by the physical constraints of the detector’s sampling resolution. Super resolution is a class of techniques used to improve the reconstruction resolution beyond the physical limitations of the detector ...

CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

RudLOV is an optically synchronized cargo transport method revealing unexpected effects of dynasore

open access: yesEMBO Reports
Live imaging of secretory cargoes is a powerful method for understanding the mechanisms of membrane trafficking. Inducing the synchronous release of cargoes from an organelle is key for enhancing microscopic observation.

Suitability of Single Image Super Resolution Models for Video Super Resolution

open access: yesInternational Journal of Engineering and Advanced Technology, 2020
This project is an attempt to understand the suitability of the Single image super resolution models to video super resolution. Super Resolution refers to the process of enhancing the quality of low resolution images and video. Single image super resolution algorithms refer to those algorithms that can be applied on a single image to enhance its ...

CD47 promotes mitogen‐activated protein kinase and epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition molecular programs to drive prometastatic phenotypes in non‐small cell lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

Diffusion Models, Image Super-Resolution, and Everything: A Survey [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems
Diffusion models (DMs) have disrupted the image super-resolution (SR) field and further closed the gap between image quality and human perceptual preferences.

ESR1 methylation and ESR1 mutations in circulating tumor cells (CTCs) and paired plasma‐cfDNA of advanced breast cancer patients: A feasibility proof‐of‐concept study

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Circulating tumor cells (CTCs) and plasma cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) were analyzed to detect ESR1 mutations and methylation in patients with advanced breast cancer. CTC‐derived DNA showed higher sensitivity for mutation detection and revealed complementary genetic and epigenetic alterations, highlighting the added value of CTC analysis for understanding ...
