Color Symmetry Breaking in a Nonlinear Optical Microresonator
A two‐color pump drives an integrated microring resonator into spontaneous color symmetry breaking mediated by the nonlinear Kerr effect. Above threshold, one optical color becomes spontaneously dominant while the other is submissive, with the selected output state emerging randomly. These results establish a new form of symmetry breaking in integrated

A Scalable Platform for Massively Parallel Superconducting Single‐Photon Detection
One hundred independent superconducting nanowire detectors, each with efficiency up to 80.1–98.3%, are integrated into a single compact system operating below 2.1 K. This parallel architecture supports fully connected multi‐user quantum entanglement distribution, while its scalability opens new avenues in optical quantum computing, QKD networks ...

Current–time characteristics of resistive superconducting fault current limiters [PDF]
Superconducting fault current limiters (SFCLs) may play an important role in power-dense electrical systems. Therefore, it is important to understand the dynamic characteristics of SFCLs.

ABSTRACT This paper provides an overview of high‐temperature superconducting (HTS) cables in DC systems, with a focus on their deployment in high‐voltage DC (HVDC) networks. The assessment of HTS cable properties—such as extremely low electrical resistance, high current‐carrying capacity and a compact geometry—and their comparison with those of ...

Research Progress in Treeing Phenomena of Polypropylene Insulation Materials
ABSTRACT Polypropylene (PP) is increasingly utilised in high‐voltage systems due to its superior electrical and thermal properties. However, electrical treeing poses a significant threat to its long‐term reliability, potentially leading to insulation failure.

Lodge moraines: a common yet underreported end‐moraine type—a review
Lodge moraines are a distinct genetic type of end moraine formed by submarginal accretion of subglacial till; they are some of the largest end moraines in the world. Although underreported in the literature, they are of equal importance to push, dump and hummocky end moraines. End moraines are formed at glacier ice margins and show the extent of former
