Supercritical fluid chromatography of glycosphingolipids
Analytical Biochemistry, 1988Glucose polymers and three classes of glycosphingolipids were permethylated and studied by supercritical fluid chromatography using a DB-5 coated capillary columns and carbon dioxide as the mobile phase. Column restrictors were fabricated at each column tip as described by E.J. Guthrie and H.E. Schwartz (1986, J. Chromatogr. Sci. 24, 236).

Fast thermalization in supercritical fluids
Physical Review E, 1994Heat transport in supercritical fluids in the absence of gravity is shown to occur in a novel and fast manner. Interferometric observations of the heat transport in supercritical ${\mathrm{CO}}_{2}$ at different densities and temperatures around the critical point show two interrelated mechanisms.

Characterization of lipids by supercritical fluid chromatography and supercritical fluid extraction [PDF]
Supercritical media were first applied as mobile phases for chromatography by Klesper, Corwin and Turner (1962). At this time, packed columns were employed, and for almost two decades the supercritical fluid chromatography (SFC) technique was studied and advanced only by a small group of scientists; the developments during this period have been ...

Chromatography with Supercritical Fluids (Supercritical Fluid Chromatography, SFC)
1994In a chromatographic separation a mixture of substances is transported by a carrier, called mobile phase, along a not moving surface, called stationary phase. Chromatography is therefore a separation based on two mass separating agents: the mobile phase and the stationary phase. Between the two phases mass transfer processes take place, which lead to a

Polymer–supercritical fluid interactions
The Journal of Supercritical Fluids, 2009The role of the interactions in systems containing polymers for the definition of operative conditions in the supercritical fluid processing is reviewed. The approaches used for the study of the behaviour of polymers in presence of supercritical fluids are considered also in the case of mixtures containing more than two components.

Supercritical fluid extraction and chemicals from biomass with supercritical fluids
Energy Conversion and Management, 2001Supercritical fluid extraction (SCFE) can reduce sample preparation time, and recovery from the methods can be equal or better than that of the classical extraction techniques for solid and semi-solid samples. The properties of a supercritical fluid (SCF) can also improve extraction efficiency and speed.
