Synthesis and efficient dyeing of anthraquinone derivatives on polyester fabric with supercritical carbon dioxide

Dyes and pigments, 2019
Two series of anthraquinone dye derivatives [CNU-1 to CNU-7 and CNU-8 to CNU-10] have been successfully synthesized from commercially inexpensive and readily available starting materials by using simple and convenient methods.

Fluoropolymer synthesis in supercritical carbon dioxide

The Journal of Supercritical Fluids, 2009
Abstract Herein we review the environmentally friendly synthesis of fluorinated polymers in supercritical carbon dioxide (scCO2). Historically, many high-performance fluorinated materials are commercially synthesized in aqueous media using fluorinated surfactants or in non-aqueous conditions using fluorinated solvents.

Green materials synthesis with supercritical water

Green Chemistry, 2011
This paper describes the chemistry of green materials synthesized with supercritical fluids. First, the properties and some specific features of supercritical water are summarized. Then, supercritical hydrothermal synthesis of nanoparticles is explained, and various applications of green materials are described.

Terephthlic Acid Synthesis in Supercritical Water

Advanced Synthesis & Catalyis, 2002
We have demonstrated the feasibility of terephthalic acid synthesis from p-xylene in supercritical water at 380 °C and explored the effects of key process variables. Reactions were carried out batchwise and isothermally in 1.54 mL stainless steel vessels. Hydrogen peroxide served as the oxidant and manganese bromide as the catalyst.

Supercritical hydrothermal synthesis of highly crystalline lanthanum zirconate nanoparticles

Journal of Supercritical Fluids, 2019
Pyrochlore La2Zr2O7 nanoparticles were synthesised in supercritical water at 450 °C under a relatively short reaction time. Compared to traditional methods, e.g.

Supercritical phase Fischer-Tropsch synthesis reaction

Fuel, 1989
Abstract A Fischer-Tropsch synthesis reaction was conducted in a supercritical fluid medium using a fixed bed reactor. Although the rate of reaction and the diffusion of reactants and products were slightly lower than those in the gas phase reaction, the removal of reaction heat and waxy product from the catalyst surface were much more effective than

Polymer Synthesis in Supercritical Carbon Dioxide

2003
It is current opinion of most of the people involved in supercritical fluids (SCFs) technology that as the end of the twentieth century has been devoted to enlarge exploitation of compressed gases in separation processes the beginning of the twenty-first will be mainly aimed to improve their utilisation as solvents for reactions.
