Supergravity at the boundary of AdS supergravity [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review D, 2009
We give a general analysis of AdS boundary conditions for spin-3/2 Rarita-Schwinger fields and investigate boundary conditions preserving supersymmetry for a graviton multiplet in AdS_4. Linear Rarita-Schwinger fields in AdS_d are shown to admit mixed Dirichlet-Neumann boundary conditions when their mass is in the range $0 \leq |m| < 1/2l_{AdS}$. We

Electrodeposited Manganese Dioxides and Their Composites as Electrocatalysts for Energy Conversion Reactions. [PDF]

open access: yesChemSusChem
This review focuses on the electrochemical synthesis of MnO2 materials and their composites and their application as electrocatalysts for OER and HER reactions for the conversion of renewable energy into chemical fuels. The electrocatalytic function of electrodeposited MnO2 for ORR and bifunctional ORR/OER for efficient operation of fuel cells and ...

Euclidean supergravity [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2017
Supergravity with eight supercharges in a four-dimensional Euclidean space is constructed at the full non-linear level by performing an off-shell time-like reduction of five-dimensional supergravity. The resulting four-dimensional theory is realized off-shell with the Weyl, vector and tensor supermultiplets and a corresponding multiplet calculus ...

Multimetric supergravities [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2016
Making use of integral forms and superfield techniques we propose supersymmetric extensions of the multimetric gravity Lagrangians in dimensions one, two, three and four. The supersymmetric interaction potential covariantly deforms the bosonic one, producing in particular suitable super-symmetric polynomials generated by the Berezinian.

Twin supergravities [PDF]

open access: yesClassical and Quantum Gravity, 2009
We study the phenomenon that pairs of supergravities can have identical bosonic field content but different fermionic extensions. Such twin theories are classified and shown to originate as truncations of a common theory with more supersymmetry. Moreover, we discuss the possible gaugings and scalar potentials of twin theories.

Supergravities on branes

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2022
Abstract Supergravity brane solutions allow for a generalised type of Kaluza-Klein reduction onto brane worldvolumes. The known replacement of a flat worldvolume metric by a Ricci-flat metric constitutes a consistent Kaluza-Klein truncation of the starting higher-dimensional supergravity theory down to a lower-dimensional pure ...

Cosmology and Supergravity [PDF]

open access: yesInternational Journal of Modern Physics A, 2016
Abdus Salam was a true master of 20th Century Theoretical Physics. Not only was he a pioneer of the Standard Model (for which he shared the Nobel Prize with S. Glashow and S. Weinberg), but he also (co)authored many other outstanding contributions to the field of Fundamental Interactions and their unification. In particular, he was a major contributor
