Structure of linearized supergravity and conformal supergravity [PDF]

open access: yesNuclear Physics B, 1978
Abstract We give, at the linearized level, the supersymmetric generalization of various tensors of differential geometry, such as the metric tensor and the Riemann, Einstein and Weyl tensors. Using them we write the Lagrangian and the equations of motion of linearized supergravity and conformal supergravity with coupling to sources. Both theories are

Twisted compactifications and conformal defects from ISO(3) $$\times $$ × U(1) F(4) gauged supergravity

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields
We study holographic solutions describing RG flows across dimensions from five-dimensional $$N=2$$ N = 2 SCFT to SCFTs in three and two dimensions using matter-coupled F(4) gauged supergravity with $$ISO(3)\times U(1)$$ I S O ( 3 ) × U ( 1 ) gauge group.

Towards a finite quantum supergravity [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2012
In this paper we study an N=1 supersymmetric extension of a perturbatively super-renormalizable (nonlocal)theory of gravity in four dimensions. The nonlocal supergravity theory is power-counting super-renormalizable and tree level unitary with the same particle content of the local N=1 supergravity (as simple example, unitarity of the three dimensional

Some recent results for SU(3) and octonions within the geometric algebra approach to the fundamental forces of nature

open access: yesMathematical Methods in the Applied Sciences, Volume 47, Issue 3, Page 1471-1491, February 2024.
Different ways of representing the group SU(3)$$ SU(3) $$ within a Geometric Algebra approach are explored. As part of this, we consider characteristic multivectors for SU(3)$$ SU(3) $$ and how these are linked with decomposition of generators into commuting bivectors. The setting for this work is within a 6d Euclidean Clifford Algebra.

Magnetic charges in supergravity

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics, 2022
Abstract In this paper we study the dual charges of $$ \mathcal{N} $$ N = 1 supergravity in asymptotically flat space-time. The action considered is the usual supergravity action with a topological contribution.

New Janus interfaces from four-dimensional $$N=3$$ N = 3 gauged supergravity

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields
We construct new supersymmetric Janus solutions from four-dimensional $$N=3$$ N = 3 gauged supergravity coupled to eight vector multiplets with $$SO(3)\times SU(3)$$ S O ( 3 ) × S U ( 3 ) gauge group.

Numerical simulation study on the floating of inclusions of different shapes in steel in a supergravity field

open access: yes工程科学学报
Supergravity is a noncontact volumetric force; when there is a density difference between the two phases, supergravity can strengthen their separation.

Octonionic Magical Supergravity, Niemeier Lattices, and Exceptional & Hilbert Modular Forms

open access: yesFortschritte der Physik, Volume 72, Issue 2, February 2024.
Abstract The quantum degeneracies of Bogomolny‐Prasad‐Sommerfield (BPS) black holes of octonionic magical supergravity in five dimensions are studied. Quantum degeneracy is defined purely number theoretically as the number of distinct states in charge space with a given set of invariant labels.

N-flation in supergravity

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2014
We have constructed a large field N-flation model in the supergravity framework. In this simple set-up, N fields collectively drive inflation where each field traverses sub-Planckian field values. This has been realised with a generalisation of the single field chaotic inflation in Supergravity.

Evolutionary Algorithms for Multi‐Center Solutions

open access: yesFortschritte der Physik, Volume 72, Issue 2, February 2024.
Abstract Large classes of multi‐center supergravity solutions have been constructed in the study of supersymmetric black holes and their microstates. Many smooth multi‐center solutions have the same charges as supersymmetric black holes, with all centers deep inside a long black‐hole‐like throat.
