Abstract The unification of conformal and fuzzy gravities with internal interactions is based on the facts that i) the tangent group of a curved manifold and the manifold itself do not necessarily have the same dimensions and ii) both gravitational theories considered here have been formulated in a gauge theoretic way.

D=7 SU(2) Gauged Supergravity From D=10 Supergravity [PDF]
The theory of SU(2) gauged seven-dimensional supergravity is obtained by compactifying ten dimensional N=1 supergravity on the group manifold SU(2).Comment: 10 pages.

Holomorphic field theories and higher algebra
Abstract Aimed at complex geometers and representation theorists, this survey explores higher dimensional analogs of the rich interplay between Riemann surfaces, Virasoro and Kac‐Moody Lie algebras, and conformal blocks. We introduce a panoply of examples from physics — field theories that are holomorphic in nature, such as holomorphic Chern‐Simons ...

BPS Geometries and AdS Bubbles [PDF]
Recently, 1/2-BPS AdS bubble solutions have been obtained by Lin, Lunin and Maldacena, which correspond to Fermi droplets in phase space in the dual CFT picture.

Applications of the Dressing Field Method are reviewed and further expanded to the very foundations of the supersymmetric framework, where it allows to build relational supersymmetric field theory. Furthermore, a novel approach is proposed giving a unified description of fermionic matter fields and bosonic gauge fields: a Matter‐Interaction ...

Cosmology and Supergravity [PDF]
Abdus Salam was a true master of 20th Century Theoretical Physics. Not only was he a pioneer of the Standard Model (for which he shared the Nobel Prize with S. Glashow and S. Weinberg), but he also (co)authored many other outstanding contributions to the field of Fundamental Interactions and their unification. In particular, he was a major contributor

New Janus interfaces from four-dimensional $$N=3$$ N = 3 gauged supergravity
We construct new supersymmetric Janus solutions from four-dimensional $$N=3$$ N = 3 gauged supergravity coupled to eight vector multiplets with $$SO(3)\times SU(3)$$ S O ( 3 ) × S U ( 3 ) gauge group.

Solution of the deformed Schwarzschild metric by the Yang-Baxter equation
In this article, an open-closed string map formulated by Seiberg & Whitten was used to solve problems of generalized supergravity, including the deformed Schwarzschild metric.

A brief guide to p-branes [PDF]
We describe the qualitative properties of p-brane solutions of supergravity theories and present two examples of p-brane solutions, first the dyonic membrane solutions of N=2 D=8 supergravity and second the intersecting M-brane solutions of D=11 ...
