The Large-N Limit of Superconformal Field Theories and Supergravity [PDF]
We show that the large-N limits of certainconformal field theories in various dimensions includein their Hilbert space a sector describing supergravityon the product of anti-de Sitter spacetimes, spheres, and other compact manifolds.

Multimetric supergravities [PDF]
Making use of integral forms and superfield techniques we propose supersymmetric extensions of the multimetric gravity Lagrangians in dimensions one, two, three and four. The supersymmetric interaction potential covariantly deforms the bosonic one, producing in particular suitable super-symmetric polynomials generated by the Berezinian.

Twisted compactifications of 6D field theories from maximal 7D gauged supergravity
We study supersymmetric $$AdS_n\times \Sigma ^{7-n}$$ AdSn×Σ7-n , $$n=2,3,4,5$$ n=2,3,4,5 solutions in seven-dimensional maximal gauged supergravity with $$CSO(p,q,5-p-q)$$ CSO(p,q,5-p-q) and $$CSO(p,q,4-p-q)$$ CSO(p,q,4-p-q) gauge groups.

Supergravity and a confining gauge theory: Duality cascades and χSB-resolution of naked singularities [PDF]
We revisit the singular IIB supergravity solution describing M-fractional 3-branes on the conifold [hep-th/0002159]. Its 5-form flux decreases, which we explain by showing that the relevant = 1 SUSY SU(N+M) × SU(N) gauge theory undergoes repeated Seiberg-

20′ five-point function from AdS5× S5 supergravity [PDF]
A bstractWe develop new techniques to compute five-point correlation functions from IIB supergravity on AdS5 × S5. Our methods rely entirely on symmetry and general con- sistency conditions, and eschew detailed knowledge of the supergravity effective ...

Supersymmetric Janus solutions in $$\omega $$ ω -deformed $$N=8$$ N = 8 gauged supergravity
We give a large class of supersymmetric Janus solutions in $$\omega $$ ω -deformed (dyonic) SO(8) maximal gauged supergravity with $$\omega =\frac{\pi }{8}$$ ω = π 8 .

All tree-level correlators in AdS5×S5 supergravity: hidden ten-dimensional conformal symmetry [PDF]
We study correlators of four protected (half-BPS) operators in strongly coupled supersymmetric Yang-Mills theory. These are dual to tree-level supergravity amplitudes on AdS5×S5 for various spherical harmonics on the five-sphere.

We study the phenomenon that pairs of supergravities can have identical bosonic field content but different fermionic extensions. Such twin theories are classified and shown to originate as truncations of a common theory with more supersymmetry. Moreover, we discuss the possible gaugings and scalar potentials of twin theories.

Abstract Supergravity brane solutions allow for a generalised type of Kaluza-Klein reduction onto brane worldvolumes. The known replacement of a flat worldvolume metric by a Ricci-flat metric constitutes a consistent Kaluza-Klein truncation of the starting higher-dimensional supergravity theory down to a lower-dimensional pure ...
