Superheating of geothermal steam
Geothermics, 1970Abstract Physical measurements, taken on geothermal steam in the Larderello area through several years' operation, are summarized. Emphasis is laid upon variations of physical characteristics (i.e. temperature, ratio of steam to incondensable gas at normal temperature, steam output, etc.) occurring in the deep geothermal system in response to given ...

One of the most frequent uses made of a steam table is to find the enthalpy, or total heat, of superheated steam. For pressures above 250 pounds, the ordinary tables require a double interpolation as the values are given only in increments of five or ten pounds pressure and tea, twenty, or more degrees temperature.

Fundamentals of Superheated Steam and Superheated Vapour Drying
South African Forestry Journal, 1987SYNOPSIS A discussion is given of the principles involved when drying with dry bulb temperatures above 100°C in either an air-steam mixture (i.e. superheated vapour drying) or in an atmosphere without any air present (i.e. superheated steam drying).
