Patients aged ≥ 80 years with atrial fibrillation underwent catheter ablation. At 2 years, the recurrence‐free survival rate was 85.8% in paroxysmal AF and 63.6% in persistent AF (p = 0.024), and periprocedural complications occurred in 12.0%, including severe complications in 3.3%.

Attending EPs performed ablation with shorter ILT, which likely contributed to more efficient procedures and reduced overall ablation time. ABSTRACT Introduction Pulmonary vein isolation (PVI) is a cornerstone of atrial fibrillation (AF) ablation. Unlike balloon‐based or pulsed field ablation, radiofrequency ablation requires precise catheter control ...

AF trigger sites exhibited a markedly shorter minimum local cycle length during ongoing AF, suggesting transient rapid activity. Ultra‐high‐resolution mapping during ongoing AF may provide complementary mechanistic information when conventional trigger mapping is inconclusive.

AutoMark Index (AI) is a novel ablation algorithm that combines contact force, radiofrequency current, and application to provide real‐time lesion formation. AI‐guided CTI ablation protocol is efficient in shortening RF duration for acute bidirectional CTI block and CTI procedure time compared to the conventional 40 W ablation protocol.

We describe a case of adenosine‐sensitive focal atrial tachycardia (AT) in a patient late after atriopulmonary connection (APC) Fontan procedure. Radiofrequency application successfully abolished the AT; meanwhile, conversion to total cavopulmonary connection (TCPC) and/or Maze procedure may fail to suppress the AT because the origin was crista ...
