Dynamics of massive shells ejected in a supernova explosion [PDF]
An expanding shell is accelerated outward by radiation from the remnant star and slowed by ram pressure and accretion as it plows into the interstellar medium. We set up the general relativistic equations of motion for such a shell. In the non-relativistic limit, the reduce to the standard Ostriker-Gunn equations.

The Dynamics, Destruction, and Survival of Supernova-formed Dust Grains [PDF]
Abstract Observations have demonstrated that supernovae efficiently produce dust. This is consistent with the hypothesis that supernovae and asymptotic giant branch stars are the primary producers of dust in the universe. However, there has been a longstanding question of how much of the dust detected in the interiors of young supernova ...

Detonation shock dynamics of Type Ia supernovae [PDF]
The wavefront propagation of curved detonation waves in carbon–oxygen cores and helium shells of Type Ia supernova (SNIa) progenitors is determined via a detonation shock dynamics approach. A level set implementation is used to track the front, which is evolved according to intrinsic quasi-steady, quasi-one-dimensional detonation speed–curvature ...

Explosion Mechanism of Core-collapse Supernovae: Role of the Si/Si–O Interface
We present a simple criterion to predict the explodability of massive stars based on the density and entropy profiles before collapse. If a pronounced density jump is present near the Si/Si–O interface, the star will likely explode.

Search for Supernova Neutrinos with the JUNO detector [PDF]
Observation of supernovae through their neutrino emission is a major fundamental field to understand both supernova dynamics and neutrino physical properties.

Type IIn/Ia-CSM supernovae (SNe IIn/Ia-CSM) are classified by their characteristic spectra, which exhibit narrow hydrogen emission lines originating from strong interaction with a circumstellar medium (CSM) together with broad lines of intermediate-mass ...

Core-collapse Supernova Explosions in Active Galactic Nucleus Accretion Disks
Astrophysical events that occur in active galactic nucleus (AGN) disks are believed to differ significantly from the ordinary in the interstellar medium.

Dynamics of radiative supernova remnants
A high-resolution numerical simulation is used to study the evolution of a SNR evolving in a homogeneous uniform medium. Emphasis is placed on the transition from the adiabatic stage to the radiative pressure-driven snowplow stage, along with the possible further establishment of a momentum-conserving snowplow state.
