Summary: A survey of superspaces associated with four-dimensional Minkowski spacetime is given from a superconformal perspective. The discussion begins in the complex setting and focuses on a class of supermanifolds -- flag supermanifolds -- which includes not only conventional superspaces and chiral superspaces, but also supertwistor spaces and ...

Supersymmetry and superspace [PDF]
The survey contains the basic ideas of supersymmetry theories. The concept of superspace is introduced, and problems of superfields are touched on.

A theory of Hilbert superspace over an infinite dimensional Grassmann algebra Λ is given. Axioms of Hilbert superspace are given and it is proven that a Hilbert superspace is isomorphic to H⊗Λ for some Hilbert space H. A natural topology on it called ε topology is defined and continuous Λ-linear operators, especially unitary operators are studied.

The possibility of developing superspace canonical methods for supersymmetric field theories in four-dimensional Minkowski spacetime leads to the question whether the \(3+l\) canonical decomposition can actually be extended from ordinary spacetime to full superspace.

On the definition of superspace
Theoretical and Mathematical Physics, 1984The author provides a definition of superspace without reference to sheaf theory. He also discusses supergroups, supermanifolds, subsuperspaces. The new definition is based on taking points in the even and odd parts of Grassmann algebras, and relating them properly when a homomorphism between two algebras is given.

The scale-invariant superspace formulation of d = 10 Einstein-Yang-Mills system is considered which gives a most economical and clear presentation of the full on-shell content of the theory. Discussion of supersymmetric higher order corrections to the effective action of string theory is based on the corresponding supergeometry.
