Wilsonian effective action of superstring theory [PDF]
A bstractBy integrating out the heavy fields in type II or heterotic string field theory one can construct the effective action for the light fields.

RECENT PROGRESS IN SUPERSTRING THEORY
Superstring theory has continued to develop at a rapid clip in the past few years. Following a quick review of some of the major discoveries prior to 1998, this talk focuses on a few of the more recent developments. The topics I have chosen to present are 1) the use of K-theory to classify conserved charges carried by D-branes; 2) tachyon condensation ...

The anomaly that was not meant IIB
Abstract Type IIB supergravity enjoys a discrete non‐Abelian duality group, which has potential quantum anomalies. In this paper we explicitly compute these, and present the bordism group that controls them, modulo some physically motivated assumptions.

Geometric Flow Equations for the Number of Space‐Time Dimensions
Abstract In this paper we consider new geometric flow equations, called D‐flow, which describe the variation of space‐time geometries under the change of the number of dimensions. The D‐flow is originating from the non‐trivial dependence of the volume of space‐time manifolds on the number of space‐time dimensions and it is driven by certain curvature ...

Yang-Baxter deformations of the AdS5 × S 5 pure spinor superstring
We present integrable Yang-Baxter deformations of the AdS5 × S 5 pure spinor superstring theory which were obtained by using homological perturbation theory. Its equations of motion and BRST symmetry are discussed and its Lax connection is derived.

Superstring and Superstring Field Theory: a new solution using Ultradistributions of Exponential Type [PDF]
In this paper we show that Ultradistributions of Exponential Type (UET) are appropriate for the description in a consistent way superstring and superstring field theories. A new Lagrangian for the closed superstring is given. We show that the superstring field is a linear superposition of UET of compact support, and give the notion of anti-superstring.

Off‐shell Amplitudes in Superstring Theory [PDF]
Computing the renormalized masses and S‐matrix elements in string theory, involving states whose masses are not protected from quantum corrections, requires defining off‐shell amplitude with certain factorization properties.

Superstring cosmology — a complementary review [PDF]
In this review, a number of approaches to superstring cosmology which make use of key features which distinguish string theory from point particle theories are discussed, with particular emphasis on emergent scenarios.

Superstring perturbation theory [PDF]
The state of superstring perturbation theory is reviewed with an emphasis on the state of the pure spinor superstring perturbation theory. We begin with a brief summary of the state of perturbation theory in the Ramond–Neveu–Schwarz and in the Green–Schwarz formulations of the superstring.

Tachyon condensation on a nonstationary D p -brane with background fields in superstring theory [PDF]
Using the boundary state formalism we obtain the partition function corresponding to a dynamical (rotating-moving) D$p$-brane in the presence of electromagnetic and tachyonic background fields in the superstring theory. The instability of such D$p$-brane
